A student and facilitator of healing communication because I believe people are worth the risk. I write about what inspires me because I believe that well-told stories are capable of creating positive impact.
Integrity is an important part of my process. Integrity to the content of the story and integrity to the heart of the message. I also believe strongly in having integrity with the people involved, and showing them respect. For example, if I’m inspired by a story that includes named people, I let them know their story inspires me, explain my intentions, ask them to review the content once the story is written, and then ask for their approval to post the story to the internet. Be assured, I do my best to not have any after-the-fact, unwanted surprises. My intention is to lift people up into a positive light, and to raise the reader’s awareness so you can be more purposeful about healing what’s broken and creating positive impact in your life.
Patti received a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in marketing, from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. And, a Master of Arts in Specialized Ministry, specializing in pastoral care counseling, from Saint Paul School of Theology, Kansas City, Missouri.
Patti has been employed with MaxYield Cooperative since 2006. She is the Learning and Development Leader.
